Our Winter-Spring 2010 program at a glance:
Ghostly Walks

From January 1 to April 30 Ghostly Walks will be held
on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm.
Starting location: Visitor Information Centre
Ghostly Walks EXTREME! on March 27, April 30, May 29 and June 26.

From May 1 to October 31 Ghostly Walks follow eight totally different routes. During the winter, the tours follow route 1 (Bastion Square and Old Town). All start from the Visitor Info Centre and last 90 minutes.

Over 5,000 years of native history and a lively parade of events and characters since Fort Victoria was founded in 1843 are good reasons to start with. Bastion Square, Old Town, Chinatown, St. Ann's Academy and the historic waterfront have more hauntings than any other parts of the city. Join John Adams and his team of professional guides on Victoria's famous ghost tours that explore the narrow alleys, historic courtyards and other spooky places where the echoes of hangings, murders and colourful events can still be heard and where ghosts can make their presence known at any time of the day or night.

Ghostly Walks are walking tours conducted every night from May 1 to October 31 and on weekends through the rest of the year. Ghost tours for booked groups may be arranged at any time. The tours have been developed by John Adams, one of Victoria's foremost historians and storytellers, who has been leading ghost tours through the alleys and haunted places of Victoria since 1970. He has appeared on the TV series Ghosts and Ghoulies and on OLN's Creepy Canada. The tours are conducted by John and his team of expert guides.

Ghostly Walks are guaranteed to be spell-binding, entertaining, memorable, and most of all ... spine-tingling!

The general schedule for 2010 is below.

JANUARY 1 to APRIL 30 2010

During January, February, March and April 2010 Ghostly Walks are scheduled every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm. (including Jan. 1 and 2). Start at the Visitor Info Centre.

MAY 1 to JUNE 10 2010

From May 1 to June 10 Ghostly Walks are scheduled every night at 7:30 pm, plus 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights (including holiday weekends). Start at the Visitor Info Centre.

JUNE 11 to SEPTEMBER 12 2010

From June 11 to September 12 Ghostly Walks are scheduled every night at 7:30 and 9:30 pm. (including holiday weekends). Start at the Visitor Info Centre.

SEPTEMBER 13 to OCTOBER 21 2010

Until October 21 Ghostly Walks are scheduled every night at 7:30 pm, plus on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 and 9:30 pm. Start at the Visitor Info Centre.

OCTOBER 22 to OCTOBER 31 2010

During the Halloween season tours are offered every night at 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 pm (plus private bookings for groups at any time). Halloween tours start in the lobby of the Bedford Regency Hotel, 1140 Government Street.

NOVEMBER 1 to DECEMBER 31 2010

During November and December Ghostly Walks are scheduled every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm. (except Dec. 25). Plus on December 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 and also Jan. 1, 2011 at 7:30 pm. Start at the Visitor Info Centre.
