"Ghost Bus-tours," now in their 10th year, are presented annually as part of the Ghosts of Victoria Festival by the Old Cemeteries Society. They are 2-hour narrated coach tours that go past some of Victoria's most haunted places, with the chance to get out at two of them (for exterior viewing). The routes are secret and vary each year, with many newly discovered stories and updates on old favourites. Over 40 chilling and amazing stories in all. Tickets are available exclusively at the Visitor Info Centre, corner of Wharf and Government streets beside the Inner Harbour in downtown Victoria. All major credit cards accepted. Call the Visitor Info Centre at (250) 953-2033 for more details about purchasing your tickets.

Haunted Horse-drawn Tours

Victoria Carriage Tours presents its second season of Halloween tours through the streets of historic James Bay. The horse-drawn trolleys provide a comfortable way to take in some of the most amazing ghost stories in town. Find out why the ghost of Francis Rattenbury haunts the Parliament Buildings, discover the site of the Pest House, hear the tale of the disembodied head and perhaps catch a glimpse of Emily Carr's ghost as you pass the James Bay Inn where she died in 1945.

Tours last 45 min. and start from Menzies Street beside the Parliament Buildings.
Call (250) 383-2207 for information and reservations.
